FUTU1 Company: Increased productivity doubled thanks to innovation

Investment in improving technology, technology and equipment has helped the Joint Stock Company No. 1 Machine Parts (FUTU1) increase production capacity doubled compared to the past.

FUTU1 was formerly Car Parts Factory No. 1, located in Chuong My district. The company specializes in manufacturing equipment and spare parts for movers and agricultural machines, of which motorbike spare parts are the key products, accounting for 80% of industrial production revenue.

Recognizing the important role of technology in manufacturing, FUTU1 director, Mr. Nguyen Duc Hien boldly invested in renovating factory equipment. Specifically, the Company has replaced universal machines with digital (CNC) machines to increase the accuracy of the product. With CNC machines, the Company will not be much dependent on the skill level of the workers, ensuring a stable production operation and improving productivity.

In the production line of motorcycle parts and accessories, FUTU1 has replaced all semi-automatic milling machines with CNC digital gear milling machines specializing in gears. This innovation has helped the production line increase 2 times, the product has higher accuracy and good gloss. Working with CNC machines helps workers to be proactive when speeding up or stopping the machine, shortening component production time.

So far, No. 1 Machine Parts Company has 10 workshops with about 700 machine heads, of which 50% are technical machines, most of which are equipped with modern machines. In order to increase component production productivity, in 2018, the Company plans to invest over VND 40 billion to improve advanced grinding and milling machines. Along with investing in modern machinery and equipment, FUTU1 also focuses on improving professional qualifications and skills for employees.

Not only enhancing technology innovation, FUTU1 has also focused on the application of advanced management tools. For many years, 5S tools have been maintained in the company, creating a neat workspace, arranging scientific machines to facilitate the operation and control of the production process. By 2017, FUTU1 has actively implemented the ISO 14001 environmental management system, IATF 16949 quality management system, and both have been certified.
