FT Batch – a new step in lubricant mixing technology

Recently, Petrolimex Informatics Telecommunication Joint Stock Company (PIACOM) has started to apply FT Batch specialized software in enterprises. This is a breakthrough in the application of international standard solutions as a basis for the development of automatic lubricant dispensing systems.

The Castrol Petco company has cooperated with Petrolimex Informatics and Telecommunication Joint Stock Company (PIACOM) to cooperate in the project “Deploy and install SCADA and PLC of lubricant dispensing control system” at warehouse Nha Be petroleum, Castrol BP Petco Factory. PIACOM is responsible for designing and upgrading the PLC ControlLogic – Rockwell Automation chain automation system. Based on Castrol Petco’s old RSView 32 software, PIACOM will improve, upgrade to FactoryTalk View SE version. At the same time, BIS batch creation software has been replaced by the FT Batch solution.

Rockwell builds FT Bath based on the ISA 88 standard – a unified standard for developers of batch process automation systems (Bath Processing). Castrol BP Petco is a large-scale and a modern lubricant dispensing plant in Vietnam deploys this solution first.

PIACOM has perfected the process of managing, manufacturing and improving other features for the system. Decentralized use strictly for departments, from the Lab to the dispensing department, materials management department, machinery, equipment management or even reports that need to be retrieved. Systematized with maximum security features.

SCADA system is built to meet the needs of displaying and monitoring information. With 56 main interface screens, the system supports a maximum of operators, making it easy to use  at every step of the preparation, repairing and controlling process in the event of an incident.

BP Petco assessed that the technological line went into operation, helping businesses diversify types of products, strictly manage the process of operating, controlling and supervising the factory, improving labor productivity, reducing time business time and costs, meeting the requirements, in line with the continuous growth of the business.

Following BP Petco, many lubricant manufacturers have come to PIACOM to upgrade and improve their lubricant blending system. It can be seen that PIACOM’s service of upgrading lubricating oil automation system has initially attracted the market, opening a new direction for the effective application of science and technology to production for domestic enterprises.
