Established in 1999, Vi Nam Viet Trading Production JSC (VINAVIT) is a typical enterprise in the field of manufacturing and distributing bolt products, screws, etc., made of carbon steel and stainless steel. His initiatives were born not only to serve the work well, but also to help workers improve productivity, safety and reduce the risk of occupational accidents.

Previously, when there was no machine, workers had to put each screw into the lathe system so the productivity was low, the product quality was unstable, and many defective products. On the other hand, putting screws directly into the machine also has the potential to cause labor accidents. The successful manufacture of the screw-tail lathe has increased productivity by 3 times compared to previous times, and production costs also decreased significantly.

In addition to this machine, Mr. Chau also successfully manufactured many other machines and equipment with high profit value, such as screw pickets with large and small heads, automatic preform feeder… Especially, recently, he has successfully designed and manufactured pipe tipping machines with used products with an expense of about VND 30 million. Meanwhile, if imported, this machine takes about 3 months to transport and assemble at a cost of about 600 million.

Talking about his initiatives, Mr. Chau shared: “Passion for making machines has been my childhood hobby. Looking at the types of machines around me, I always think of ways to improve, upgrade or make new equipment suitable to the conditions and circumstances of Vietnam while increasing labor productivity”. He has successfully manufactured many other mechanical devices, constantly receiving awards from the city and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

In 2015, Mr. Quach Vu Bao Chau was awarded the 15th Ton Duc Thang Award organized by Ho Chi Minh City Federation of Labor and Saigon Liberation Newspaper. Mr. Chau is also one of the typical examples of hard work in the labor, contributing many innovative initiatives to improve the quality of labor and benefit the unit.
