Enterprises raise their awareness when implementing: Productivity and Quality for goods project

On March 7, 2019, the Project Executive Board held a conference to evaluate the implementation results: “Project of productivity and quality for commodity products in the period of 2016-2020”.

In order to support enterprises in Vinh Long province to participate in the project “Enhancing productivity and product quality , goods quality of enterprises in Vinh Long province in the period of 2016-2020”, the Department of Science and Technology is standing agency, leading and coordinating with agencies and units in the province, advising the Provincial People’s Committee in implementing this project.

In the past 2 years, the Project Management Board has surveyed and evaluated the status of production, business and service activities, disseminated the benefits of participation and implementation under the project at 135/130 enterprises, training in construction and application of management systems, improvement tools to improve quality, assess the management system certification, quality certification of goods and products that meet the standards and regulations technical standards, … at 57 enterprises.

In addition, some enterprises have proper awareness about the application of management tools for improving tools to improve quality, certify product quality in accordance with technical standards. This is a solution to help businesses create products with high quality and reasonable prices.

However, the project has not reached the set targets: only 36.92% of businesses are supported, most businesses in the province are small businesses, financial management activities also carry traditional family skills, so the product cost accounting has not been specific, detailed…

The conference aimed to discuss and share experiences of enterprises in building technical demonstration models, applying advanced machinery and equipment to support businesses in the province to improve productivity and quality.

On this occasion, there are 15 enterprises that received the certificate of quality management system.
