Enterprises in Da Nang renew technology thanks to industrial promotion capital

In recent years, the industrial promotion activities of Da Nang City have had a strong impact on the process of technological innovation, sustainable industrial production development as well as promoting and improving the operating capacity of Da Nang City many businesses and production facilities in the area.

In the two years of 2018-2019, from the industrial promotion programs implemented, 39 projects in the province have been supported, with a total budget of over VND 5 billion. Particularly in 2019, there were 19 projects with a total amount of VND 2.85 billion disbursed to enterprises, of which capital from the national industrial promotion program was VND 1.5 billion and the local was 1.35 billion dong.

From the industrial encouragement source of Da Nang city, the company has supported the application of advanced machinery and equipment for many businesses such as: Binh An Establishment, Long Buu Fine Arts Stone Production Facility, Sun High Technology Cooperative, Cong Thang Thang Co.Ltd, Da Tuu business household, Binh Minh plastic production and trading establishment, CRV Plus Co. Ltd, Le Thi Establishment, Thu Bon Safe Agricultural Food Cooperative ,etc.

Among them, Phat Tien Hung Production and Trading Company Limited (Hoa Vang district), in order to improve product quality and production scale, the Company has invested in a new PVC-ASA corrugated plastic production line. In order to increase the anti-heat feature, avoid oxidation and help the product have a much higher durability than normal corrugated iron. The total investment cost is over VND 5.2 billion, of which the support from the national industrial promotion is VND 500 million.

In 10 years of construction and development, this is the third time the Company receives support from the national and local industrial promotion program, the funding support is up to 800 million VND. According to the chair of Mr. Dang Nam Hung – Director of the Company, this support is very meaningful and timely for an enterprise operating in the field of rural industrial production. Thanks to the capital of industrial promotion, he himself has been more brave in investing in renovating equipment and machinery to expand the unit scale, improve product quality, increase competitiveness in the market.

At Dana Plywood Production and Trading Company Limited, the Company also invested in buying new cold presses with the aim of boosting automation in production activities. The company also received support from the national industrial promotion fund with the amount of VND 300 million in the total purchase of VND 616 million in machinery. With that assistance, from a small business, until now, the company has gradually asserted its position, Dana Plywood’s products have been available in the markets of India, England, South Africa, Thailand,etc enough sustainability in the context of fierce competition in the world plywood market.

Appreciating the effectiveness of the industrial promotion capital source which has been implemented by the city’s industry and trade sector in the past time, Mr. Dang Phu Hanh, Standing Vice Chairman of Hoa Vang District People’s Committee affirmed that the capital from the industrial promotion program though not too however, this is a timely support, which helps businesses grow more and more. Thereby assisting businesses and production facilities to promote the application of advanced machines and equipment in production with advantageous products and typical rural industrial products in the locality such as manufacturing and processing cinnamon products, rice paper, building materials, etc.
