Typically among them is the initiative “Designing and installing coal sorting system” by Mr. Le Quang Vuong, Nguyen Van Duong – Steel Refining Factory. With a design capacity of 50-70 tons / hour, the system ensures the supply of coal for production, crushing and classifying coal in accordance with specifications to serve post-furnace alloying, and remove unconformable fine coal. way. With this initiative, the company has saved 89 VND billion / year, while ensuring the quality of the charcoal supplied to the blast furnace, reducing the amount of dust generated when alloying behind the furnace, reducing consumption and drought. Processing coal dust generation when the alloy is behind the furnace, taking advantage of the fine coal dust provided for sintering.
Next is the initiative “Improving the quality of casting billets for the casting system” of Mr. Ho Van Cuong, Foreman of Casting PX, Steel Mill. In terms of technology, the initiative has completed the standard billet cooling water regime table for each grade of steel and each section of the cast. For the equipment, complete the calibration and installation process of water plants, adjust the R&M curvature radius for the casting machine. This initiative has contributed to limiting the embryo cracking defects, increasing the casting speed, benefiting the company more than 12.3 VND billion / year.
Initiative “Using blast furnace iron ore to replace sintered ore used for slag generation in the smelting process of blast furnace steel” by Mr. Dang Viet Thanh – Head of Technology Department is also one of the valuable proposals. making a big profit, helping the company reduce costs by 11.35 VND billion / year. Thanks to this initiative, the use of anise ore has completely replaced the sintered ore, meeting the requirements of blast furnace slag generation and furnace heating. The output and quality are satisfactory, so from March 2019, the Company has not had a shortage of sintered ore for the 3 blast furnaces to use.
