Every Saturday, the Technical Team holds a meeting to review the effectiveness of previous innovations, proposing rewards to individuals who take the initiative to promote active exploration as well as incentive. them in the future. All are deployed as part of the Kaizen (continuous improvement) strategy at the Company.

Kaizen not only brings practical economic benefits, but also helps to significantly improve the morale of workers. Specifically: In the past, the staff in the cutting team were afraid to cut with a large amount of fabric, when damaged, they would have to remove a large amount of fabric, wasting input fuel. After the meeting proposed an improved solution, the cutting team doubled the thickness of the cut fabric. If previously the thickness of the cut fabric was 50mm for one cut, now this number has been increased to 100mm, this size is still within the requirements specified by the customer. Increasing the length of the fabric seems to be more difficult during the operation, but in reality, this change has had a surprising effect.

Time spent in fabric cutting saves 90 minutes a day after doubling fabric thickness, reducing overtime due to untimely cutting. At the same time, this solution has also met the requirements of the sewing lines in the next production stage, improving the labor productivity of the cloth cutting department by 12.6%.

Through the well-maintained Kaizen, every week, company management reports on improvement implementation results and recommends reviewing new improvement ideas. It is estimated that every single improvement after review has the potential to improve step-by-step productivity by 10% to 30%.
