Deo Nai Coal Joint Stock Company – TKV, located in the heart of the coal region Cam Pha, Quang Ninh. Over 48 years of construction and growth, the Company continuously exceeded all assigned plans. By 2020, Deo Nai Coal sets the production target of “Safety, Productivity, Efficiency, Quality” and strives to complete the exploitation of over 40.5 million tons of coal and consume nearly 50 million tons of coal by TKV.
In order to complete the goals with technical solutions, the Company has deployed a set of KPI work performance assessment tools to evaluate and measure for each production department and individual employees.
Some technical solutions have been deployed by the Company such as relocating the drainage system, reducing the slope angle and increasing the stability of the mine bank, focusing on pumping water from the main seams, handling soil, rock and mud. drift bottom of the pit, focus on exploiting according to the progress of lowering the main seam … In addition, the Company also focuses on checking the quality of each type of equipment, arranging vehicles to transport workers to the machine foundation, contributing yield gains and productivity gains. As a result, in the first 6 months of the year, the capacity of the electric excavator has reached 107% compared to the year plan, up 1.2% over the same period in 2019. The CAT 6020B hydraulic excavators achieved 105% of the year plan, up 3.7%.

By setting KPIs according to SMART criteria (specific, measurable, feasible, starting from the common goal, with limited time), defining the target according to this criterion helps the company to allocate control, implement specific goals. While the objective measurement system has quantified the level of work completion of each department, department, individual, saves time for staff evaluation meetings, voting at the end of the year.
At the same time, stemming from the patriotic emulation movement, the company leaders always encourage workers to come up with innovative initiatives to improve production and business efficiency. Vietnam Coal – Mineral Industry Group awarded the title of emulation soldier to 142 individuals and awarded the leading flag and certificate of merit to 19 leading motorbike groups of TKV.
In 5 years, the Company spent over 45.2 billion VND rewarding for 770 leading construction sites, workshops, departments and motorcycle groups and 14,858 individuals working in units in the Company. In particular, the emulation movement to promote innovation and rationalize production has achieved many good results. In 5 years, there were 396 initiatives; Many typical topics and initiatives applied in production bring high efficiency. The company has rewarded 28 TKV emulation soldiers for the period of 2018-2019; 51 construction sites, workshops, departments, and production teams reached the top productivity, output in the first 6 months of 2020 and outstanding outstanding 131 employees with total bonuses of nearly VND 800 million.
