The first impression in the application of Science and Technology to the production stages of Death Viet Brick and Tile Joint Stock Company is the successful application of innovations and technical innovations “Producing tiles according to the method of dry grinding of raw materials”, is recognized as a groundbreaking initiative in the burnt clay industry in Vietnam. With this initiative, clay materials will undergo the process of plowing, sun-drying, and chin-turning, before putting them into powder and mixing materials to produce roofing tile product lines.
This method helps to distribute the material evenly in composition and particle size; outstanding tile quality thanks to reduced water absorption, high mechanical intensity, reduced weather warping, increased product smoothness; In particular, the firing process will consume less fuel than wet grinding technology.
Another innovation and improvement of the Company that brings high efficiency is the automatic Pavia cutting and cutting equipment, the cutting productivity is up to 3 times higher than the manual Pavia cutting machine; reducing manual labor, reduce the number of workers for a process and create a clean factory floor; improve product quality, especially in the standard of consistency, bending resistance, color uniformity. Currently, the Company’s decorative roofing and restoration, tile products are processed on the automatic Pavia cutting machine.
Each stage of the Company’s production line has a breakthrough initiative, which is being applied, such as: Utilizing and recovering heat from exhaust and exhaust gas systems to dry products; production of one-time colored enamel on tunnel furnaces. Both technical innovations and innovations have contributed to improving the environment, reducing production costs, increasing output and product quality.
The Company’s effort to build Science and Technology Enterprises continues to make a new mark with the investment, installation, commissioning of ultra-fine dry grinding technology and distribution of cotton brick production materials. This is the first technology to be applied in Vietnam. The superior grinding system has just been applied by the Company to produce raw materials at a superfine level (less than 0.425 microns), helping to create cotton products with superior quality on smooth, smooth surfaces; at the same time overcoming many shortcomings and disadvantages of the old system in saving resources, making use of hard rock to produce raw materials.
The ultrafine grinding system is one of the results from the operation of the Science and Technology Research and Development Center established in 2014. With the same equipment system as a production line, staff and workers actively research, explore, innovate, the Center has hundreds of initiatives, technical improvements applied to production; productivity, product quality, revenue, profits contributed to the increased budget, is the most clear evidence for the success of investment in the application of Science and Technology, building Science and Technology Enterprises of the company.
Currently, the production capacity of the Company increased by 2 times compared to the original designed capacity, reaching about 8 million bricks / year. The Company’s baked clay product lines are of national and international standards and exported to more than 50 countries and territories. In 2019, the Company paid 40 billion VND to the state budget; Quarter I / 2020 nearly 10 billion.
