In 2017, the whole company had 165 initiatives and typical technical innovations that were applied, bringing high efficiency such as: Solution of installing end-lift lifting system; improving enamel spray system on Cotto bricks using electric motors to use compressed air; new design gas supply system for 2-layer bone furnace and enamel furnace; solutions to improve specialized tables for assembling grinding heads of grinding machines; solutions to improve belt stroke of enameling stage; improve grate, increase efficiency gasification furnace, etc.

Especially with the effort, dynamism and creative passion at work, Mr. Tran Van Chuyen, the head of the repair and maintenance team, the Technical Services Department, has launched the initiative of “Manufacturing specialized tables for dismantling grinding head” has won the third prize of Vinh Phuc Provincial Technical Innovation Contest in 2017.

Mr. Nhuyen shared: “Every day, I have to do repair work to fix the grinding head, the grinding head shaft, I have witnessed the repair workers are very hard, encountering many difficulties and dangers during the operation lifting and grinding the grinding head shaft to repair and replace. I have been wondering for many days thinking about how to reduce the heavy workloads to reduce the worker’s strength and ensure labor safety.”

After a period of thinking, Mr. Chuyen proposed the idea: Improving a special table for assembling the grinding head. In order to realize the idea, I have researched and utilized the available equipment of the workshop to save the maximum cost by processing the farm table with a corrugated iron sheet with a thickness of 20mm, a length of 1200mm, width 800mm, one end has a fixed welding code, in the middle of the table is a 4-hole drill that matches the size of the grinding head to be removed, then there is a positioning of the code as a fulcrum for hydraulic jacks. All details are bolted, when done, remove neatly stored in the specified position.

This solution overcomes the limitations of having to use a lot of people to lift and lower equipment, and reduce the time to perform operations, while ensuring labor safety. My initiative has helped reduce 1/3 of the workforce and 70% of the operating time and benefit businesses nearly 94 million / year.
