The Golden Cashew Company in Bu Nho commune, Phu Rieng district, owned by Mr. Vu Manh Tung, is a typical enterprise in Binh Phuoc that has applied science and technology in processing and manufacturing for the purpose of releasing labor, increase productivity, goods ensure safety and meet the needs of domestic and international markets.

Originating as an employee of the quality management and product development department of a large cashew processing company in Binh Phuoc province, Mr. Tung regularly researches in detail the product lines processed from cashew. Working with partners who are foreign experts helps him learn from experience and capture the needs of customers and markets. After 9 years working as a hired employee, with the accumulated knowledge and experience, Mr. Tung has decided to open a company producing from cashew and targeting foreign customers.

Determining the object of foreign customers, the requirements for product quality are rigorous, so Mr. Tung has to spend time researching and finding suitable technology solutions. However, the investment cost of machinery is quite high and if do not understand the technology will face many risks, reducing the value of cashew, so him brought cashew nuts directly from Binh Phuoc to foreign countries to test processing on the modern machine system. To date, Mr. Tung has invested in an automatic cashew roasting and packing machine with a capacity of 90 tons / month.

The production process of the Company is self-contained and designed under a one-way principle and is strictly managed. Before entering production workshops, workers must go through washing areas, wear protective and sterile clothing. Use the hazard control system, insect control, ultraviolet projector to sterilize. Determining the goal of bringing the cashew brand to the world, focusing on product quality and meeting the needs of customers, Mr. Tung focused on investing to increase the competitiveness and value of cashews.

Right from the input material, the Company has quality control, quality assurance of cashew nuts grade 1. Processing, with each type of product is applied specialized roasting techniques to keep its unique flavor. To ensure quality from raw materials, Mr. Tung has cooperated with major cashew production companies in the province and additional raw materials from Indonesia and Cambodia to diversify the supply chain. Currently, the company has exported 60-70% of its products and the remaining 20-30% is sold domestically. It is expected that this year it will be exported to some countries in Japan, Korea, USA and Europe. The Company’s main products include: roasted cashew nuts; unsalted roasted cashews; cashew roasted with coconut milk; Honey roasted cashews and spicy roasted cashews. The company’s average revenue is 300 million / month, creating stable jobs for 9 employees.

Currently, the Golden Cashew Company has granted an international certificate of global quality management BRCS from Anl Retail Association, which is certified with FDA standards of the US Food and Drug Administration; receiving food safety and hygiene in Vietnam; Mr. Tung was also granted a PCQI certificate (a certificate of qualified person in management of quality systems under the US FSMA law).
