According to the demand of registration support of the Center for Rural Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation and the implementation of the Program”Improving productivity and quality of products and goods of enterprises in Binh Thuan province in the period of 2016-2020″ according to Decision 2779 / QD-UBND dated September 22, 2016 of the People’s Committee of Binh Thuan Province, on July 2019, the Branch coordinated with the Center for Rural Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation to organize the training course “Advanced quality productivity with lean ”. Attending the training course, there were 30 students who were managers and staff of the Center.

Previously, on July 15, 2019, the Department of Science and Technology held an appraisal meeting, considered and selected dossiers to support to improve product and good quality of 04 organizations and enterprises under Chapter process to improve product and good quality of enterprises in Binh Thuan province in the period of 2016-2020 in the Decision No. 2779/QD-UBND dated September 22, 2016 of the Provincial People’s Committee. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Departments: Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Department of Construction, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The meeting has reviewed, evaluated and appraised 04 dossiers requesting support to improve the product and good quality, which was received by the Department of Science and Technology in the first 6 months of 2019, including: Building and applying the quality management system ISO 9001: 2015 of Ben Thanh Mui Ne Joint Stock Company; Certification of standard conformity products (terrazzo bricks) of Dong Nam Trade Production Joint Stock Company; Certification of standard conformity products (construction stone) of Rang Dong Granite Company participated and won the National Quality Award in 2018 by Khai Hoan Wood Processing Export Joint Stock Company.
