In early August 2019, the company’s technology conversion project of bagged cement grinding system was officially put into operation, helping the company solve the shortage of cement grinding output, reducing production costs, maintaining stable product quality, and at the same time meeting the requirement of converting cement types quickly.

With a total investment of nearly 930 billion VND, capacity of 1.5 million tons / year includes: 1 cement mill with a capacity of over 210 tons / hour, 1 silo of 5 cells with a capacity of about 30,000 tons, 2 bagging machines with a capacity of 240 tons / hour and a synchronous infrastructure system, roads and yards for production, the project in operation has increased the company’s cement production capacity to 4.5 million tons / hour year.

Especially, with modern technology, the line will minimize the impact of dust and noise in the environment. PCB40 cement products, especially PCB40 for projects, will gradually replace traditional PCB30 cement, improving competitiveness for Bim Son cement products on the market.

Mr. Nguyen Chi Thuc, Head of Engineering and Research and Development Department, Vicem Bim Son, said:

“During this year, a series of projects to renovate, upgrade and replace old lines will also be implemented by the company. The company also hired a total monitoring consultant to come up with a solution to ensure the environment. Along with that, an automatic monitoring system will be installed, which helps to control dust concentrations, promptly adjust arising problems, create stability in production stages, contributing to improving the quality of production products”.

2019 is identified as a technological breakthrough year to optimize production, improve product quality and labor productivity, and achieve sustainable development goals. In the first 6 months of 2019 alone, the Vicem Bim Son achieved revenue of 1,915 billion VND, 4.4 times more than the same period in 2018.

In 2020, the Vicem Bim Son Company said it has set a target of production and consumption of 5.6 million tons or more with an expected pre-tax profit of about 265 billion. To accomplish this goal, Vicem Bim Son continues to drastically implement measures to increase clinker quality and reduce fuel consumption; perform the repair and maintenance of equipment to minimize the incidents; strictly control costs to reduce production costs and increase profits. Continue to research and invest in a synchronous cement production line, regularly update technology, learn market needs to produce new types of cement to meet increasingly high tastes of customers.
