Bac Giang Noodles: Improve productivity thanks to the application of modern equipment

Within the framework of the project “Building and developing agricultural products meeting provincial criteria in the period of 2019-2021”, Bac Giang Department of Industry and Trade has supported 200 million VND for investment in modern equipment and machinery in cooperatives producing Cho noodles in Luc Ngan district with the aim of improving product quality and improving the ability competitiveness of local craft villages.

Currently, the new machine system has helped cooperatives save labor resources, product produced increased in quality and quantity. Hanh Thai Cooperative is currently signing a contract to supply noodles to 42 stores of the VinMart supermarket system with the volume from 40-50 tons / month, with the selling price of more than 30 thousand VND /kg. Compared to before, 8 cooperative members had to mobilize about 30 workers per day to have enough goods to supply to customers.

Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, General Director of Bac Giang Department of Industry and Trade said: “In 2019-2020, cooperatives have been supported coating machines, boilers, industrial gas cylinder systems, dryers, noodle cutters, bag machines. As a result, noodle production was gradually replaced by modern machinery; remediation of weather-dependent conditions; freeing up labor, minimizing environmental infections, favorable consumption links.”

If compared to before, the production of noodles by hand encountered environmental problems, weather, labor resources, the machinery system has now helped the cooperatives partly in the production process as well as increase the quality productivity for the product. In addition, the Department also actively propagates and connects enterprises to consume goods, organize training classes, visit to learn experiences in developed craft villages in the country, support cooperatives to participate in fairs, exhibitions and product promotion.

Currently, the production of Chu noodles brings the main source of income for relatives of Luc Ngan district. Therefore, along with the support of all levels of government, cooperatives also actively build modern infrastructure and machinery for production. Bac Giang Tung Chi Noodle Cooperative, Nam Duong commune has invested more than 500 million VND to build a modern drying oven to help maintain a stable amount of goods to serve customers even in the time of prolonged rain. Or as the Cooperative production and business noodles For Hien Phuoc, Nam Duong commune invested hundreds of millions of dong to build drying ovens and warehouse systems standard, expand the scale, active link to bring noodles into supermarkets.
