Automatic cans and canning chain with a capacity of 50,000 cans / hour

Currently, there are a number of manufacturers of equipment, canning and canning lines in the world with a capacity of 50,000 cans / hour, but with a high cost, about 4.5 million euros, equivalent to 120 billion VND. Chinese production lines, although lower in price, have low quality, low longevity, high power consumption and high product wastage rate.

Facing this inadequacy, Mr. Tran Van Tra – Deputy General Director of Huong Sen Group Joint Stock Company – has burned his intention to renovate and redesign the chain of automatic canning and canning. Mr. Tra has researched, improved, designed, manufactured, and successfully synchronized a chain of automatic canning and canning lines with a capacity of 50,000 cans / hour, with a price reduction of nearly 3/4 of the import cost.

Automatic canning and chain with a simplified design, based on the use of locally available materials and materials such as: Plastic coated cables, forklift, hydraulic lifters… instead for special materials and equipment of professional equipment suppliers, the price is cheap, and it is easy to find a replacement when broken. In the line, in addition to a number of imported systems, the remaining products are improved and completely new fabricated by the author.

Designed with a capacity of 50,000 cans / hour, compared with the old line, the output of the new line increased 4 times, meeting the output of 200 million liters / year. With the prominent features and practical efficiency, in particular: low investment costs, about over 32 billion VND, nearly 3/4 reduction compared to import costs. Power consumption is reduced by 7.3kW / h running the machine, no maintenance cost is 400 million VND / year.

The number of employees decreased by 51 people / 3 shifts, but the labor productivity still increased. This is the first large-scale filling and packaging line in Vietnam, with a high rate of self-design, manufacture and improvement instead of synchronous import lines, Mr. Tra said. Has been applied in practice since 2014.

In 2016, the initiative of the automatic canning and canning chain is the product of many years of research by Master Tran Van Tra, Huong Sen Group Joint Stock Company, won the first prize of the Science – Technology Innovation Award. Vietnam, also won the first prize in the 6th Thai Binh Science – Technology and Technology Contest (2014 – 2015).

Mr. Tra added that there are currently two businesses in Thai Binh, who have ordered a bottom sealer – a module of the chain – for more than VND 200 million. Two Singaporean units and one Vietnamese unit also ordered a product outsourcing and packaging on this line. This is not only the joy of author Tran Van Tra, of the Huong Sen Group Joint Stock Company, but also a good sign for the enterprises of producing, processing and preserving agricultural products.
