With the goal of building mines in the direction of “Clean mines, modern mines, small mines”, contributing to increasing labor productivity, improving product quality, ensuring the health of workers, from 2017 to 2020, Golden List Coal Company has promoted the application of technology towards me meathization and information technology in accordance with the guidelines that Coal – Mineral Industry Group (TKV) set out.
Rising productivity
Implementing the policy set out by TKV, Golden List Coal Company actively promote the implementation of research projects, technology transfer, investment projects for production. Up to now, the company has completely replaced anti-furnace wood with anti-hydraulic columns, self-operating rigs.
Specifically, the company has invested in an anti-self-operating rig complex combining coal stage machines to exploit the output of 2,250,000 tons of coal within 5 years. The first year output reached 380,000 tons as planned and by the end of 2018, the output reached 405.000 tons; the lower ceiling coal recovery rate reached 97% compared to the 95% design; Direct labor productivity reached 22.4 tons/attack, higher than the design of 17.5 tons/attack, ensuring absolute safety. For steep coal seams, successfully applied the system of exploiting the market furnace obliquely divided horizontally, against holding the market furnace with ZRY soft rig complex. This technology has increased labor productivity, reaching from 7 to 8 tons/attack and coal loss is only about 11%, the level of safety and working conditions of workers is significantly improved.
The company also invested in new technology, renovated the recruitment plant to produce good quality bran coal, helped reduce sludge, improve the quality of wastewater treatment. At the same time, investing in B650-B1200mm conveyor lines by PLC system from the furnace to the recruitment plant, helping labor productivity increase, significantly reduce the workforce and coal transportation costs.
Promoting technical initiatives and improvements
According to Mr. Vu Dinh Viet – Chairman of The Trade Union of Golden Coal Company, in the period of 2015 – 2019, the company has nearly 1.000 scientific initiatives and topics are applied to production, the profit value is over VND 15 billion. In particular, many initiatives of the company’s staffs have won high prizes in the Technical Innovation Contest organized by Quang Ninh province. Typically, the topics and initiatives: “Using cement mortar drilling solution to reinforce rocky soil, serve digging and anti-furnace through falling areas and soft geological areas” won the third prize of the contest; “Use centrifu centrifum sludge pumps to dredge the central pumping tunnel sludge, pump straight to the recruitment plant deposition tank, instead of manual contact” consolation prize…
In addition, “Research on dredging machine, clean bottom” is successfully applied, reducing the dredging of coal sticking by hand, reducing waste by 30% of the capacity of goong due to coal sticking. In addition, there are many other initiatives such as: Digging furnace lines to reduce the length of transport lines; exploiting protective pillars to take advantage of resources; reasonable rolling cables, mesh spreading for recovery of ZH market furnaces; mining furnaces, coal deductions increase productivity, reduce coal losses of ZRY market …
In order for the movement to promote initiatives and technical improvements received the response of workers, trade union organizations have coordinated with the authorities to develop mechanisms to encourage wages associated with labor productivity, public days for furnace workers such as: Encourage the completion of production plans from 5-10% for mining workshops and digging furnaces, from 3-7% for transport workshops, exposed, screening. At the same time, applying the mechanism of encouraging high public days for workers to exploit, dig furnaces and med on furnaces.
