Adidas manufactures shoes made by a robot factory

After years of chilling, researching and building the system, adidas finally succeeded in producing robot shoes, with the first product to hit the market, MFG (Made for Germany).

Adidas’ robot factory is called SpeedFactory. The name Speed ​​- Speed ​​comes from shortening the production time of a shoe. Before, it took a total of 18 months to research and manufacture a complete pair of shoes from scratch (including transportation, testing, etc). Now Adidas has shortened it to days and will be hours.

Although made almost entirely by robots, but these sneaker still ensure each meticulous line, exquisite as being processed from human hands. It is known that currently, adidas has just launched the 500 MFG model & has a number of 1-500 so it will certainly be in the Limited Edition form, and the original price is about $ 250.

Adidas has revealed that it plans to use robots at its Speedfactory to produce a range of Adidas made for (AM4) products specifically designed for six of the world’s largest cities. The first AM4LDN shoe was designed specifically for London and will be available on the market on October 19.

Soon after, AM4PAR (Paris) will launch on October 26, while versions of AM4LA (Los Angeles), AM4NYC (New York City), AM4TKY (Tokyo) and AM4SHA (Shanghai) – will be available on 2018.

The company’s second robot plant in Atlanta will help the company to automatically produce shoes for other cities soon. In the future, Adidas may design shoes for individual users similar to the way they make athletic products.
