5S/Kaizen method helps Ha Yen increase production efficiency

Ha Yen Joint Stock Company participated in the quality productivity improvement project under the Industry Development Program that was funded and supported by the Japanese Government. From March 2016, Ha Yen JSC started to implement the 5S/Kaizen tool with the guidance of Mr. Aoyagi Yukuta, who is the consultant comes from JICA – TAC organization.

Ha Yen JSC established the 5S committee and regularly conducted 5S/Kaizen training courses on theory and practice for employees. So far, the working and management activities of Ha Yen Factory have currently changed significantly. Especially, the working environment has become been cleaner, safer. It took every employee has gradually absorbed the 5S/Kaizen spirit.

Mr. Dong Vuong Xuan, who is Production Assistant of Ha Yen Joint Stock Company said: Thanks to the application of the 5S/Kaizen tool, the production cost is reduced, the production progress is also guaranteed. So far, Ha Yen has won bids in thousands of projects in the industrial kitchen sector. Thereby, the export value was increased. That success has contributed up to 70% from the support of the project specialists who helped business successfully applied the 5S/Kaizen model.

On January 11th, 2018, Ha Yen JSC was honored to be one of the three representative enterprises shared their experiences in implementing the production management method according to 5S/Kaizen model at the forum “5S/Kaizen – leverage to increase productivity and quality “. That forum was organized by the Northern Small and Medium Enterprise Support Center (TAC Hanoi) in collaboration with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). After the sharing session, Ha Yen JSC had the opportunity to receive visitors to visit and learn the experience of implementing the 5S/Kaizen model at the factory. Guests invited to visit our representatives of manufacturing enterprises who are planning to apply the 5S/Kaizen production management methods for their units.
