5G service price is 60% lower than 4G

According to Huawei, the global 5G band price is 60% lower than the 4G band price. This is an important factor contributing to the development of mobile broadband services. The 2.6GHz C-band and TDD bands will be the 5G bands used by many countries.

The world needs 10 years to achieve the number of 500 million subscribers for 3G technology (from 2001-2010), takes 6 years to achieve 500 million 4G subscribers (from 2009-2015), but with the 5G forecast, it is only needed 3 years (2019-2022) to 5G technology achieves the same number of subscribers.

Huawei said that the price of 5G smartphone products will also drop rapidly along with the increase in the number of products launched on the market: In 2019, if the average price of a 5G smartphone is about $ 600, so that in 2020, there will be more than 100 smartphones sold at an average price of 300 USD, and in 2021 we will have 5G smartphones priced at 150 USD.
