28 Hung Phu JSC applies quality management systems to improve competitiveness

Through the application of quality management systems and tools such as ISO 9001, WRAP, BSCI, Lean, etc, 28 Hung Phu Joint Stock Company has approached many large customers such as Costco, Nautica, White stuff, etc.

28 Hung Phu Joint Stock Company is a unit specialized in manufacturing men’s / women’s shirts in the high-end segment. Therefore, product quality is a vital factor to help the company compete in the market and is also Hung Phu’s vision and mission:

  • Vision: “28 Hung Phu always pursues the goal of becoming the leading high-end men’s and women’s shirts manufacturer in Vietnam and having a reputation in the world”.
  • Mission: Maintaining the leading position and competitive strength with high quality and standard products and services; build long-term, prestigious and professional relationships with customers and partners.

All of the company’s products are manufactured in compliance with the Quality Management System ISO 9001: 2015. Accordingly, each year the company produces 2,880,000 products, with 85% of the output being exported to markets of the European Union (EU), US and Australia.

The company also applies the Social Responsibility Management System according to WRAP and BSCI standards – the garment industry’s global responsibility. (WRAP certificate is assessed by ICG and provided by WRAP organization). Since 2014, the Company has been assessed and certified annually by WRAP organization with its production and business activities meeting the standards of conduct according to the standards of global responsibility for garment production.

In addition, the Company also established a LEAN group to promote improvement activities in the production process. The LEAN team cooperated with the Technical Department to well implement the technical elements, patterns, patterns, clamping, and technological processes for the two workshops to achieve the goals of productivity, revenue and ensuring the delivery to customers on schedule.

Solutions to improve productivity and quality continue to be implemented

  • Continuing to implement the Risk and Opportunity Management program;
  • Maintain the implementation of a lean production system (Lean), actively improve at all stages, stages and tasks of each person, eliminate waste, increase waste to increase productivity and product quality.
  • Thoroughly implement the Sure ERP production management software in production management and operation, efficiently use invested machinery and equipment.
  • Strictly complying with periodic chain maintenance, especially high safety equipment (boilers, compressed air, transport ladders, goods), always ensuring the best equipment for production.
  • Build a system of advanced technical norms, contract expenses for collectives and individuals to use economically such as: materials, spare parts, stationery, petrol, electricity, telephone, import and export expenses.

With the ability to provide quality and prestigious products, the company is currently a partner of many high-end fashion brands such as Hugo Boss, TMLewin, Brachsoni, Arvenco, Petrifun, Ted Baker, Apparel, Owen, Vince Camuto, etc. Hung Phu’s products are also gradually appearing in many demanding markets such as Europe, America and Japan.
