100 Vietnamese enterprises discussed quality management automation

According to FPT, for the first time in Vietnam, nearly 100 Vietnamese information technology enterprises and experts from the International Quality Assurance Organization (QAI Global) discussed at the event “CMMI 2.0 and Self. automation of quality management process ” was held on 6/6.

This program is organized by FPT Software in cooperation with QAI Global to help Vietnamese technology enterprises update the latest information and experience in applying CMMI 2.0 in software service provision.

CMMI 2.0 is a version of CMMI (a standard that measures the level of proficiency in the US software manufacturing process) announced by the US Software Engineering Institute in March. This is considered a “ticket” for technology businesses participating in the software service supply chain around the globe, etc.

According to FPT representatives, the CMMI 2.0 structure changes more comprehensively than the previous versions, so that even enterprises without much experience in the field of CMMI can still learn and apply.

The most important thing is that CMMI 2.0 helps businesses to have a more advanced process to analyze/evaluate and adapt faster under new changing conditions, solving problems that need to be monitored and adjusted in time. timing of business plans as needed.

In 2009, FPT Software transferred a set of supporting documents to deploy, build, apply and take the CMMI Level 5 certification to the Vietnamese business community and technology enterprises community. Currently, FPT Software has achieved CMMI 5 version 1.3 certification, the highest level at the moment.

Thereby, FPT Software was listed on the list of about 150 companies and organizations around the world by the US Software Engineering Institute worldwide to recognize the software production process system reached the highest level in the mature model of software production capacity.
