Long Son Cement: Increased production capacity thanks to modern technology from Europe

Long Son Cement is currently one of the few factories in Vietnam that is well invested and inherits modern scientific and technological applications from Europe. Crusher Loscher (Germany), cooling system and Clinker IKN (Germany). All activities of the equipment in the production line are supervised and controlled from the Central Control room designed and supplied by ABB (Switzerland).

The bagging system is made by design of Hoover & Boecker (Germany) capable of packaging many kinds of bags according to each market’s specific requirement. This is a plus point for Long Son’s products when exported to regional and world markets.

Mr. Truong Van Loi, Production Director of Long Son Cement Plant, said: In addition to choosing the most advanced production technology in the world, the Long Son Cement Company selected ABB of Switzerland to provide the necessary equipment of the central control room. The operation of all equipment in the plant’s production line is monitored and controlled at the central control room through measuring devices.

The coordinates control system is controlled online from the product quality control department through X – Ray system, this is the newest and most advanced system of Them or Swiss. The products of Long Son Cement Plant are manufactured on the world’s most advanced technology lines, precisely controlled by information technology and are tested experimentally before being released to bring Customers the best products in quality.

Thanks to the application of modern technology, in the first 5 months of 2019, clinker produced at the factory reached 2,160,595 tons, cement reached 2,479,750 tons, clinker consumption output of 450,000 tons, 2.5 million tons of cement; revenue reached 1,656 billion VND. The factory’s products produce about 20,000 tons/day; in particular, exports to markets of countries, such as Taiwan, Japan, the Philippines its 5,000 tons/day. The consumer market in Thanh Hoa province accounts for 5% of the total market share. Up to now, the Long Son Cement Company has products such as: PCB 40 cement, PCB 30, PC cement, bulk cement, Jumbo bags. Each product is created to meet the essential needs of domestic and foreign users.

The company has affirmed its stature and integration into the international market with the ISO 9001: 2015 quality management system certificates and the American Association of Materials and Testing Association (ASTM) etc. with no efforts discontinued, the company’s products are increasingly getting user appreciation.
